AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or local emergency personnel when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report security-related concerns involving patients, visitors, staff, and/or property. Perform assigned armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and site policies while maintaining professional interaction and preparedness for emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

Hospital vaccine requirements must be met. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
