Securitas Securityis looking for Armed Security professionals to join our team in providing overall safety and security services to our clients. Our armed program includes advanced firearms training, personal defense strategies, de-escalation, and use of force. We issue all necessary equipment to include company issued firearm and ammunition. We are looking for individuals who have prior law enforcement, military and or armed experience to join our team! What Your Day May Look Like Patrol assigned site on foot or in vehicle; check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons. Respond to emergency situations where rapid and effective judgment, appropriate escalation and use of force is required. Work directly with law enforcement, government staffing and the community. Write detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries, suspicious activity, emergency situations, and any other observed issues. Security screening all persons coming through the public entrance to ensure prohibited items are not entering facilities. Monitor surveillance cameras. FREE Eco Pass!!! Career growth opportunities. Position Requirements 21 years of age or older. High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months. Standard computer / technology skills needed - The ability to utilize a tablet, computer, or smartphone. Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus!! Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner. Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift. Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation. All candidates must be willing to participate in the Companys pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation. Must have prior military/armed experience and be able to speak to gun safety. Must pass pre-hire testing assignment and shooting qualification. Must have a reliable personal vehicle. Must have the legal right to work in the United States. Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English. Must be able to provide the office with a reliable phone number where the officer can be reached at all times (i.e. cellular). Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic. Must have a strong grasp of appropriate and professional verbal/written communication. Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift. Must be comfortable conducting access control duties. Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Security Officers.
