Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Non-Commissioned Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, assets, and personnel. This is a critical role that requires strong surveillance skills, conflict management abilities, and knowledge of security protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify any suspicious activities
• Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances
• Provide assistance to staff and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
• Enforce access control procedures to maintain the security of the premises
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related incidents
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property
• Perform first aid or CPR in emergency situations until medical professionals arrive

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures
• Proficient in operating surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems
• Previous experience in law enforcement or security-related field is preferred
• Possession of relevant certifications such as First Aid, CPR, or Security Guard License is a plus
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
