Schedule:
Monday - Thursday 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Overnight Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises during nighttime hours. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for monitoring all activity on-site, conducting surveillance, managing access control, and responding swiftly to any incidents. Your proactive approach will help maintain a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property, while supporting loss prevention efforts and enforcing safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your security expertise in a fast-paced setting, making a tangible difference every night. Duties Conduct continuous CCTV surveillance to monitor premises and detect suspicious activity using advanced security systems such as CCTV cameras and alarm systems Control access points by verifying identification, performing background checks on visitors or contractors, and maintaining detailed logs of all entries and exits Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies by assessing situations, providing first aid if needed, and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary to manage equipment or secure items safely Utilize specialized tools such as Tasers, AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators), and perform CPR in emergency situations to assist injured individuals Manage conflict situations effectively through conflict management techniques, ensuring safety for all parties involved Conduct regular patrols of the facility's interior and exterior areas, including fence checks and yard inspections to prevent theft or vandalism
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age Must have an active Utah Guard Card Must be able to maintain site-specific security orders Must be able to pass a background check & drug test Must have a working and functional smartphone with data to conduct reports Must own personal transportation or have reliable transportation to get to and from work
Education:
High school diploma or GED is required

$19.00 per hour
