Job Summary We are seeking energetic and vigilant Unarmed Security Officers to join our dynamic security team. In this vital role, you will be the first line of defense in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and property. Your proactive presence will deter potential threats, monitor surveillance systems, and respond promptly to incidents. This position offers an engaging opportunity to apply your security expertise while ensuring the safety of everyone on-site through active observation, conflict management, and emergency response skills. Responsibilities Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to identify suspicious activity or safety hazards. Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure security protocols are being followed and to detect any irregularities. Manage access control by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, and contractors. Respond swiftly and effectively to incidents or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR. Enforce safety policies and resolve conflicts with professionalism and tact, maintaining a calm demeanor at all times. Document all security activities accurately through detailed reports and logs for accountability purposes. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary to ensure prompt resolution of incidents. Experience Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Knowledge of surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; training will be provided if necessary. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Familiarity with security procedures, law enforcement protocols, and emergency response practices.
