Unarmed Security Guard

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises through surveillance systems, conducting regular patrols, and responding promptly to incidents. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in preventing loss and ensuring the safety of all individuals on-site. Responsibilities Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises. Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter criminal activity and ensure safety protocols are followed. Utilize CCTV systems to monitor activities and respond to any suspicious behavior or incidents. Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed in emergency situations. Manage conflicts effectively by employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or provide information regarding security concerns. Document all incidents, observations, and activities in a clear and concise manner for record-keeping purposes. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and implementing preventative measures. Experience Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not required. Familiarity with surveillance equipment (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies is advantageous. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail to identify potential security threats effectively.
