- 6:00 AM Job Summary We are seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-service-oriented Part-Time Security Officer to join our team at a gated residential community in Gainesville, Virginia.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, guests, visitors, and property staff. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and professional in a residential community setting. Key Responsibilities Monitor and control access at the gated community entrance.
Greet residents, guests, vendors, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
Verify visitor authorization and maintain accurate entry logs.
Conduct routine patrols of the property as required.
Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, or policy violations.
Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and resident concerns.
Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident reports.
Enforce community rules and security procedures in a professional manner.
Maintain a visible security presence to help deter unauthorized activity.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, residents, and property management. Work Environment This position is located at a gated residential community. Security Officers will interact regularly with residents, guests, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel. Additional Information /
