Overview Join our dynamic security team as an Unarmed Security Guard and play a vital role in safeguarding our facilities, assets, and personnel. This energetic position requires vigilant observation, quick response, and excellent conflict management skills to ensure a safe and secure environment. You will be the first line of defense, maintaining order and providing a reassuring presence for visitors and staff alike. Responsibilities Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety, security, and loss prevention Manage access control by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations effectively Assist in emergency situations by providing first aid or CPR if necessary, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders when required Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping Enforce facility policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access Qualifications Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and loss prevention techniques Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Familiarity with security protocols, CCTV monitoring, and basic emergency response procedures Excellent observational skills combined with a professional appearance and demeanor Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods during shifts Join us in creating a safe environment where everyone feels protected!
