Security Officer

Responsibilities Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or potential threats. Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, to ensure safety and security protocols are followed. Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and employees by checking credentials and issuing access passes as needed. Respond swiftly and effectively to incidents or emergencies, including medical emergencies requiring CPR or first aid. Manage conflict situations professionally using conflict management techniques to de-escalate tensions. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents or investigations. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches for reporting purposes. Skills Proven experience in security roles or law enforcement with a strong understanding of security protocols. Certification in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during medical emergencies. Ability to handle conflict situations calmly and professionally using conflict management skills. Familiarity with loss prevention techniques to prevent theft or property damage. Background in military or law enforcement is advantageous for understanding security procedures.
