Overview Join our dynamic security team as an Armed Security Officer, where your vigilance and expertise will play a vital role in safeguarding assets, property, and personnel. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your law enforcement background, surveillance skills, and conflict management abilities in a fast-paced environment. As an integral part of our security operations, you will ensure a safe and secure environment through proactive monitoring, rapid response, and professional engagement with visitors and staff alike. Duties Conduct thorough security patrols of the premises using CCTV surveillance systems and physical inspections to identify potential threats or irregularities Monitor security cameras (CCTV) continuously to oversee activity within the facility and surrounding areas Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, including medical situations requiring CPR or first aid intervention Enforce access control protocols by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors before granting entry Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, de-escalating disputes while maintaining safety for all parties involved Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents requiring official intervention Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and documentation for all security-related activities and occurrences Qualifications Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a focus on armed security operations Valid firearms license or certification as required by local regulations for armed security personnel Strong knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras and loss prevention techniques Certification in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during emergencies Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Familiarity with security procedures, access control systems, and emergency response protocols Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts Join us in creating a secure environment where safety is a shared priority!
