The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. This position requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. Duties Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, ensuring the safety of personnel and property. Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify potential security threats. Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required for investigations or incidents. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property. Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations. Requirements Valid Armed DCJS Certification Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred. Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and equipment, including CCTV systems. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments. Strong observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats. Must possess a valid armed security license as required by state regulations.
