Responsibilities/Duties:

Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidentsConduct regular patrolsMonitor activitiesSurveillanceAccess ControlSafety escortsUsing provided communication devicesRepresent SSNWs brandProperly wear the issued uniformComplete Daily Activity Reports (DAR)Complete Incident ReportsWork with local law enforcement, and emergency servicesProvide friendly assistance to customers, employees and visitors following the department's procedures.

Post OrdersRequired Skills/Abilities:

10 years of combined experience (Military, Law Enforcement, and/or Security) Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving recordReliable transportationMust be able to obtain a Washington State Unarmed Security Guard LicenseHonesty and IntegrityAble to work non-traditional hours including swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidaysAbility to react appropriately in high stress situationsSmart phone to access the apps we use for scheduling, clocking in/out, and reporting.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or EquivalentPrior Public Safety and/or Military experience preferredKnowledge of security protocols, and equipment

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to conduct regular walking foot patrolsAble to stand 8-12 hours a dayMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times (occasionally)SSNW is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of applicant and employee information.
