AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government services location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or local responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and document security-related concerns, incidents, and/or maintenance issues according to site procedures. Support protection of public-facing offices, operational areas, and infrastructure by observing conditions, reporting hazards or policy violations, and following post orders throughout the shift.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. Be at least 21 years of age. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
