Join Allied Universal in a government location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government utility location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or local authorities as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and/or vendors in accordance with location procedures and government facility requirements. Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, daily activities, and/or maintenance or operational concerns observed during patrols and interactions on site.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
