Job Description

PCS is seeking experienced, level-headed Security Officers who can remain calm under pressure and treat every individual with dignity and respect. This is a high-interaction, community-based assignment where professionalism, patience, empathy, and strong communication skills are essential. Officers assigned to this site serve as both a security presence and a professional representative of the property, making sound decisions while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. This position is ideal for security professionals who are skilled in conflict de-escalation, customer service, and maintaining firm but respectful boundaries.
Shift:
Days Monday-Friday 2 years security experience required Pay & Benefits $20.00-$22.00 per hour Site training provided Paid time off (vacation, illness, personal) Medical benefits for full-time employees Uniforms provided Responsibilities Control access and greet staff and guests professionally Maintain safety and order in a people-centered environment De-escalate tense situations using calm communication Enforce policies fairly and consistently Observe and report safety concerns (fire, flood, hazards) Complete detailed incident reports Contact emergency services when necessary Qualifications Minimum 2 years security experience required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to multitask and complete written reports Valid State Issued ID (DL or ID) & reliable transportation Availability for varied shifts, including weekends and holidays Requirements Ability to obtain a Washington State Guard Card (PCS reimburses the $101 state fee after 90 days) Clear criminal record per WA DOL Guard Card standards Pass pre-employment drug screening (including cannabis) Apply Apply directly through Indeed Or call 253-535-4433 (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm) PCS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
