Job Summary Join our team as an Unarmed Security Guard and become a vital part of maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment. In this role, you will monitor premises, enforce safety protocols, and provide excellent customer service to visitors and staff. Your proactive approach and keen observation skills will help prevent incidents and ensure the safety of everyone on-site. This position offers an engaging opportunity to serve your community while developing valuable security skills in a dynamic setting. Duties Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards Observe and report any unusual or unlawful behavior Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizing entry for authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, providing assistance such as first aid or coordinating with law enforcement when necessary Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping Assist with loss prevention efforts by monitoring for theft or vandalism and intervening when appropriate Collaborate with team members to manage conflict situations calmly and effectively, ensuring a safe environment for all Qualifications Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus, with willingness to obtain if not already certified Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Familiarity with security protocols, loss prevention strategies, and emergency response procedures Excellent observational skills with attention to detail in monitoring large areas or multiple screens Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts Join us in creating a secure environment where safety is our top priority!
