Job Description
Hotel Security Officer 2525 North 20Th Avenue, Pasco, WA 99301 From $18 an hour - Full-time From $18 an hour - Full-time This position is under the direct supervision of the security manager and is primarily responsible to provide security and safety for the guests, staff, and the hotel during the night time. Responsibilities Patrols the property's interior ground and back of the house area. Follow safety and security policies and procedures at all times. Patrols hallways, parking lots, stairwells, lobbies, bars, and restaurants. Ensures all guest room doors are closed and all public access doors are locked. Ensures all properties' security alarms and CCTC cameras are on and functional. Might spend all or part of shift watching the CCTV monitors for any suspicious activity, and report to superiors and local authorities in case of any suspicious activity. Responsible for maintaining clear and concise logs of all nightly occurrences, and suspicious activity. Responds to guest requests quickly and courteously as reported by night shift staff. Assist guests/employees during emergency situations. Notify appropriate individuals in the event of accidents, attacks, or other incidents. Escort Guests and Employees from the bar or pub and occasionally guests become intoxicated or combative. Lock property entrances when required. Conduct daily physical hazard inspections. Performs all duties in a safe manner and reports all accidents to the supervisor immediately. Maintains the safety and security of guests at all times. Adheres to key control policy and procedures according to the set standards of the hotel. Any other duties assigned by the superior or management. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. At least 21 years of age. Min. 1 plus years of security experience. Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment, and enforcement procedures. Preferred Education and Experience Security/law enforcement experience.
