Security Guard

Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring the protection of property and personnel while providing excellent customer service. Duties Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities. Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify suspicious behavior or incidents. Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, following established protocols. Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the premises. Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering First Aid and CPR as needed. Prepare detailed reports of incidents, observations, and activities during shifts. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns or incidents. Engage in conflict management to de-escalate potentially volatile situations effectively. Skills Ability to obtain Washington state guard card is required; military or law enforcement experience is a plus. Clean driving record, zero tolerance for drug use, ability to pass background check. Proficient in surveillance techniques and the operation of CCTV equipment. Strong knowledge of loss prevention strategies and practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse individuals. Capable of performing First Aid and CPR; certification is highly desirable. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Attention to detail and strong observational skills for identifying potential security threats.
