We are a queer and minority owned, small business run by security professionals with over 40 years of combined experience protecting the Seattle community. We have built a culture of honesty, equity and respect by always being "straight up" in our business with everyone from clients and guests to valued employees. Committed to doing business differently, we put people over profits - starting with our employees. STR8 UP is hiring great candidates to work at some of the events we provide security services for in Seattle. The skills used at these events include: Customer Service Crowd Management De-escalation A great candidate must be able to stand for long periods of time without assistance and be able to remain calm when faced with animosity/disorderly attendees. No prior experience necessary, just a willingness to learn, a commitment to customer service, and professionalism. We are excited to train the right people! We do ask that you be at least 18 years old and fully vaccinated. We are proud to offer employees competitive wages starting at $22/hour. Medical benefits and paid time off are offered to employees working 32 hours per week on average.
