• Overview Join our dynamic security team as an Armed Security Guard and play a vital role in safeguarding our facilities, personnel, and assets.

This energetic position requires vigilance, quick decision-making, and a proactive approach to security. You will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through active patrols, surveillance, and immediate response to incidents. If you possess a strong sense of duty, excellent conflict management skills, and relevant law enforcement or military experience, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real impact while working in a fast-paced environment. All positions are paid, emphasizing the importance of your expertise and dedication. Duties Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity Respond swiftly and effectively to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed Enforce access control procedures by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors before granting entry Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records to ensure accurate documentation of daily activities and incidents Utilize conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense situations while ensuring safety for all individuals involved Skills Proven experience in security operations, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a focus on armed security roles Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally Familiarity with loss prevention strategies to protect assets from theft or vandalism Ability to enforce rules firmly yet respectfully while maintaining positive interactions with staff and visitors Knowledge of legal regulations related to security practices and use of force policies
