AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant details to supervisors and/or local contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, offices, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points, observe public areas, and assist with directing foot traffic and/or visitor inquiries while following post orders and location protocols. Support emergency and non-emergency situations by communicating with site personnel, first responders, and/or dispatch as appropriate, and helping with orderly response activities.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Handcuffing certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
