PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a public transportation location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels. Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directions and general information, and help to address policy violations, trespassing concerns, and/or suspicious behavior. Work collaboratively with site contacts, transit personnel, and/or first responders during routine operations and emergency situations while following Allied Universal protocols and client-directed procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
