As a Security Officer Patrol Agent in Olympia, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel. Support daily operations by completing incident reports, maintaining post records, and following Allied Universal protocols for security-related observations and response actions.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 2 years of security-related experience are required. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
