Security Officer / Gate Attendant

Security Officer / Gate Attendant Part Time Positions - Janesville & Beloit, Wisconsin We are currently seeking candidates for unarmed professional Security Officer / Gate Attendant Positions. These positions provide physical security for an organization's facility to ensure a safe environment for employees, contractors, clients, and visitors. Qualified candidates will be intelligent courteous individuals with a friendly attitude, professional demeanor, great customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. Must be able to work in both Janesville and Beloit. Part-time positions with future potential for full-time hours.

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Must have reliable transportation to report to work at various sites. Have a general knowledge of security procedures. Proficient written and oral communication skills. Must be responsible, dependable, and have a professional attitude. Must have good attendance, be punctual and have excellent people skills. Must be able to walk and be on your feet for extended periods of time. Must be willing to work outdoors during inclement weather. Must be able to pass a strict background check. Security, military, or law enforcement background is a plus. Availability to work 1st and 2nd shifts, weekends and holidays are also required. All Stewart Security employees must be licensed by the State of Wisconsin Dept. of Safety and Professional Services, which includes a criminal background check. If you do not have a Security permit already, Stewart Security will help you obtain one.

Additional Gate Attendant Duties:

Checking customer invoices and loads. Controlling access to the product yard. Simple entries on an electronic table to assist with inventory control (training provided) Building materials / trade knowledge a plus.
