Full-time Position Overview Monticola Security is seeking a highly professional and vigilant Armed Access Control Officer to safeguard client facilities by managing entry points, verifying credentials, and maintaining a secure environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to respond effectively to security threats while maintaining a customer-service mindset. Key Responsibilities Monitor and control access to designated facilities, ensuring only authorized personnel enter the premises Verify identification, credentials, and access permissions for employees, visitors, and vendors Conduct security screenings, inspections, and perimeter checks as required Maintain a visible armed presence to deter unauthorized activity and ensure safety Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in accordance with company protocols Document daily activities, incidents, and irregularities in detailed reports Enforce site-specific security policies and procedures Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary Provide excellent customer service while maintaining strict security standards Qualifications Must possess a valid armed security license in accordance with state regulations Prior experience in armed security, military, or law enforcement preferred Strong observational and decision-making skills Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High level of integrity and reliability Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and firearms qualification Physically capable of standing/walking for extended periods and responding to emergencies Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for advancement within Monticola Security Ongoing training and professional development About Monticola Security Monticola Security is committed to delivering professional, reliable, and proactive security services.
