Job Description

Eastridge Mall is a premier shopping destination in Casper, Wyoming, renowned for its wide range of retail, dining, and entertainment options. We are committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all our guests and employees. We are currently seeking dedicated Security Officers to join our team and help us ensure a safe shopping experience. Job Overview As a Security Officer at Eastridge Mall, you will play a key role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises. Responsibilities include patrolling the property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment and access points, and permitting entry.
Key Responsibilities Patrol Duties:
Regularly walk through and inspect the property to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
Access Control:
Manage access to the property by screening visitors and verifying visitor credentials.
Incident Response:
Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances immediately.
Report Writing:
Write detailed reports on daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurences.
Emergency Response:
Provide first aid and emergency assistance as needed.
Customer Service:
Assist mall visitors with directions and information about facilities and services.
Law Enforcement Liaison:
Cooperate with police, fire, and other safety officers in security operations and emergency situations.
Qalifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in security is a plus. Proven experience as a security officer or guard. Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety. Familiarity with report writing. Excellent surveillance and observation skills. Physically able to patrol the property and intervene during incidents. Certified in SPR and first aid is preferred.
Pay:
$14.00 per hour
