Job Summary:

The Intermediate Security Officer is a seasoned first-response professional who performs a wide range of frontline security, fire and life safety, and risk management services for GTLC , its employees, and its guests. This position provides 24/7 coverage in guest activity areas and employee housing, responding to medical emergencies, de-escalations, wildlife interactions, disputes, concerns, violations, and other common calls in a remote National Park environment. Intermediate Security Officers respond promptly and professionally to guest and employee requests and emergency situations, recognizing that not all incidents fall strictly within departmental scope and utilizing strong communication skills to seek resolution through appropriate parties and established chain of command.
