Job Description

Overview The Surveillance Agent plays a key role in monitoring properties owned by the Tribe. This position involves learning and applying fundamental surveillance skills, with a strong focus on observing, documenting, and reporting criminal, regulatory, and procedural activities that could negatively impact operations. Responsibilities Monitors all areas of the casino using CCTV digital equipment. Observes, records, and reports potential security and safety risks to guests and employees. Observes employees participating in cash handling activities to detect infractions of house rules, casino policies and regulations. Observes employees and guests involved in gaming activities to detect infractions of house rules, detect cheating and fraudulent uses of casino property. Documents and reports all procedural, criminal, and regulatory infractions. Uses CCTV and digital surveillance tools to record, label, and store video evidence. Learns the NIGC minimum internal control standards relevant to casino operations and reports any infractions to the Gaming Commission. Understands departmental policies and procedures affecting the overall casino operation. Completes daily activity reports accurately. Coordinates with relevant departments when surveillance detects issues requiring further investigation or attention. Attends scheduled department meetings and training sessions. Gains a basic understanding of table games, slots, count, and cashier procedures, focusing on detecting procedural errors and cheating methods. Ensures accuracy and completeness in all daily logs, incident reports, and saved video records. Qualifications Minimum High School level education. Prior gaming experience in any of the following areas is preferred: surveillance, table games, slots, and cage.
Pay range:
$21.00 - $27.30 per hour •
Shift Differential:
Non-Exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for any hours worked between 10:00pm and 6:00am. This is not a smoke free workplace. Although we employ state-of-the-art air filtration systems, cigarette smoke is in the work environment.
