Technical Surveillance Countermeasure Technician Omniscius Consulting Washington, DC Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Surveillance operations Data analysis skills Driver's License Driving Full Job Description Our client is seeking a skilled Technical Surveillance Countermeasure (TSCM) Technician to work on government installations, conducting inspections to identify and mitigate unauthorized networks (Wi-Fi and Bluetooth) to ensure national security. This role requires expertise in surveillance detection, data analysis, and adherence to Department of Defense (DoD) and Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) policies.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections of office spaces to detect and neutralize unauthorized surveillance threats. Adhere to established TSCM protocols and standards to ensure comprehensive inspections. Accurately document inspection activities, findings, and maintain detailed operational records. Provide clear and concise briefings on inspection results during operational meetings and staff updates. Prepare written reports in thePFPA-SSD
format within five days of an investigation, including findings and actionable recommendations. Manage and operate advanced radio frequency monitoring equipment to detect, analyze, and neutralize unauthorized signals. Analyze signal data, resolve anomalies, and maintain a signals database for historical comparisons. Provide expert recommendations to neutralize identified threat signals. Conduct mobile device detection sweeps as mandated by PFPA. Assist in TSCM investigations, including instrumented and physical searches across signal transmission mediums and communication networks. Ensure compliance with DoD, IA-30, and PFPA policies governing the workplace environment. Complete mandatory training within required timeframes. Support PFPA by executing and coordinating various operational matters. Adhere to the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan to ensure performance standards are consistently met. Provide briefings to senior DoD executives and policy decision-makers when required.Qualifications:
Graduation from the Department of Defense TSCM Service School or Interagency Training Center Fundamentals Course. Minimum of two (2) years of TSCM experience. Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
