JOB DESCRIPTION - INVESTIGATOR

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual interested in a Private Investigator intern position to join our team on a full-time basis. You will conduct investigations, gather evidence, and provide detailed reports for a variety of cases including surveillance, background checks, and fraud investigations. This role is ideal for someone seeking flexibility with an ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough investigations (surveillance, background checks, etc.)
• Interviewing witnesses and establishing relationships
• Gather and document relevant evidence
• Photographing and video recording of evidence and accident sites
• Provide clear, concise, and accurate written reports
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards in investigative procedures
• Active communication with Lead Investigator/Director of Operations to relay vital case information

Qualifications:

• Must be fluent in English & Spanish.
• Valid private investigator intern license in Florida, or ability to obtain one within 45 days
• Proven experience in investigation, loss prevention or similar experience involving surveillance and evidence gathering
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills
• Availability for part-time, flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• You must have a reliable vehicle that can be used at your disposal
• You must own a personal NON-SHARED and password-protected portable computer (notebook, laptop)

Compensation:

• Starting Salary commensurate on experience

This role requires a high level of flexibility, as investigations can demand unforeseen time commitments. Cases may involve extended hours or unscheduled workdays, including nights, weekends, or holidays. There may also be periods of low activity, where case volume is limited, potentially leading to inconsistent income.
