Job Summary Shifts available Sat and Sun 8am-4pm Fri and Sat. 10pm-6am (2 positions available) Sunday. 6am-2pm We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. Must have or be able to obtain a Hawaii guard card. If you dont have one we may be able to help get one. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. Duties Monitor premises through surveillance systems, including CCTV, to detect and prevent any suspicious activities. Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action. Provide first aid assistance when necessary and maintain a current CPR certification. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage. Manage conflicts with professionalism and de-escalate potential issues effectively. Collaborate with law enforcement when required, providing detailed reports of incidents as needed. Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations. Experience Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with surveillance equipment and loss prevention techniques is advantageous. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; training may be provided for qualified candidates. Strong conflict management skills are essential for addressing challenging situations calmly and effectively.
