Surveillance Operator - 3rd Shift

Full Time (32 hours) 3rd Shift Surveillance Operator. Turfway Park Racing & Gaming is a gaming facility in Florence, Kentucky. Turfway Park Racing & Gaming features 850 popular, thrilling, state-of-the-art HRM games, a simulcast area with VIP section, event center, live horse racing, restaurants and bars.

JOB SUMMARY

The Surveillance Operator is vigilant in observing all areas of the gaming facility and surrounding areas and reports all procedural infractions and criminal activity to the Surveillance leader on duty

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains cleanliness of work stations and equipment. Performs close watch duties as assigned. Maintains familiarity with gaming law, regulations, company policies and procedures. Receives periodic on-the-job training. Diligently monitors all company assets as well as monitoring all employees for procedural violations. Maintains up-to-date working knowledge of procedures and policies for all departments. Enforces department procedures by observing and reporting any failure to comply with company policy or gaming regulation. Maintains up to the minute, detailed, and accurate logs. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent Previous surveillance experience preferred Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license Churchill Downs Incorporated is an inclusive and fun place to work.
