Surveillance Agent, Night Shift (Caesars New Orleans)

The Surveillance Agent at Caesars New Orleans Casino & Hotel utilizes CCTV and video management software to conduct safety, casino, and security audits of all areas, including all businesses and properties within the casino to provide for optimal asset protection and the safety of guests and team members. This position works closely with the Louisiana State Police to protect company assets and monitor suspicious behaviors. This position requires strong computer literacy and mathematical skills. Must be at least 21 years of age or older. High school diploma or GED is required. Some college preferred. Must have excellent Math Skills Strong computer skills with attention to details Must have a desire to learn broad knowledge of games and casino rules, procedures, and administration. Have a desire to learn camera equipment and methods of operation and recording as required. Ability to identify those cheating methods, and other irregular activities. Must be able to successfully pass written and/or oral tests on a periodic basis, displaying knowledge of all facets of the Gaming Operation as well all regulatory after training periods. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. Present a well-groomed appearance. Highest level of integrity, ethics, & trustworthiness are required. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills are essential.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL ANDENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

Maneuver to all areas of the casino. Sit or stand for long hours observing numerable CCTV screens. Work and maneuver in close quarters. See and also remember the specific details of incidents and persons. Must have the manual dexterity to operate the following equipment: DVR's, monitors, switches, computers, controllers, and cameras. Give court testimony when necessary and write detailed reports. Bend, stoop, reach, kneel, twist and grip items when necessary. Respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guests' demands in a fast pace environment. Excellent vision (including peripheral) is needed to protect the games. Read, write, speak, and understand English. Respond to visual and aural cues.

GAMINGPERMIT

Non-Key Maintain surveillance on designated areas and activities. Record irregular activity as required. Operate all surveillance equipment, including, but not limited to DVR's, monitors, switches, computers, controllers, and cameras as assigned. Provide CCTV (closed camera television) and personal observations of all departments and applicable job functions to assure that all company policies and procedures are met with compliance. Present oneself as a credit to Caesars and encourages others to do the same. Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.

PAY:

$17.50/hr - $19.50/hr
