Schedule:

Mondays, approximately 12:00 PM•2:00 PM or 1:00 PM•3:00 PM. Secure Family Visits Inc. is seeking a reliable and professional Supervised Visitation Monitor for a recurring weekly case involving supervised visits between an adult son and his elderly mother out in the community. This role requires a strong, confident individual who can maintain structure, uphold established guidelines, and ensure a safe and appropriate visitation environment at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and document visits in a neutral, objective manner Enforce all visitation rules and boundaries consistently Remain attentive and aware of participant behavior throughout the visit Intervene appropriately when necessary to maintain safety and compliance Submit timely, detailed reports following each visit

Ideal Candidate:

Comfortable maintaining authority in sensitive or potentially challenging situations Highly observant with strong situational awareness Able to recognize changes in behavior and respond appropriately Comfortable addressing and managing potential impairment or safety concerns in real time Professional, reliable, and punctual Background in healthcare, behavioral health, substance use treatment, social work, criminal justice, or related fields strongly preferred (e.g., nurses, medical assistants, drug/alcohol counselors, caseworkers, or similar roles)

Position Details:

Independent contractor role This posting is for a specific case involving an elderly adult, though additional opportunities (including child visitation cases) may become available. Must be available consistently on Mondays during scheduled hours

Requirements:

Must be 21 years of age or older Must be authorized to work in the United States Must be willing to undergo a background check as part of the hiring process, consistent with applicable laws. Must possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (e.g., social services, human services, education, healthcare/medical, criminal justice, or similar) Relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree may be considered on a case-by-case basis Must demonstrate strong professional judgment and the ability to maintain boundaries in sensitive situations All Monitors must meet the following requirements to be scheduled independently: Completion of company-required training within 30 calendar days Current CPR certification Completion of Mandated Reporter training Agreement to comply with all documentation, neutrality, and conduct standards Failure to meet or maintain these requirements may result in removal from the schedule or contract termination. Compensation Structure 1.

Provisional Monitor Status Rate:

$29.00 per hour Applies during the initial onboarding period while required training and certifications are being completed.

Conditions:

Provisional status may not exceed 30 calendar days Monitor must be actively completing required training modules Monitor may be scheduled for visits while in provisional status Provisional compensation reflects limited risk exposure during incomplete certification

Compliance Requirement:

Provisional status automatically ends upon completion of all required training and certifications or at the 30-day mark, whichever occurs first. 2.

Certified Monitor Status Rate:

$30.00 per hour Automatically applied once all requirements are verified, including: Training completion CPR certification Mandated reporter training Completion of background screening in accordance with applicable laws No additional approval is required. Certification completion results in an immediate pay increase. Training Completion Enforcement Monitors who do not complete all required training and certifications within 30 days will be removed from the schedule until compliance is achieved. Extensions are not automatic and may be granted only under exceptional circumstances. Optional Advancement At management discretion, monitors demonstrating consistent reliability, strong documentation quality, and availability for high-conflict or community visits may be eligible for future pay adjustments, other role opportunities, and/or priority scheduling. Professional Classification Monitors are compensated based on: Regulatory compliance requirements Court-admissible documentation standards Risk management responsibilities Professional conduct expectations This role is not classified as childcare, caregiving, or casual supervision. Monitors provide supervision and documentation only and do not perform hands-on care. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to follow structured expectations.
