Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or other suspicious activities. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, ensuring appropriate action is taken. Conduct regular inspections of premises and report any irregularities or safety hazards. Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Assist in conflict management and resolution when necessary, ensuring the safety of all individuals involved. Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed during emergencies. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required and maintain accurate records of incidents. Skills Proven experience in law enforcement or security roles is preferred. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques; certification is a plus. Proficient in surveillance methods and loss prevention strategies. Ability to remain calm under pressure while making sound decisions quickly. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong attention to detail.
