POSITION SUMMARY
The State of New Hampshire Lottery Commission, Investigation & Compliance Division, is seeking a Full-Time Gaming Enforcement Investigator to support regulatory oversight of charitable gaming operations, with a focus on Bingo and Lucky 7 games . This role is ideal for candidates seeking for evening and weekend work , as it requires a flexible schedule with nights, weekend, and irregular hours based on gaming activity. The Investigator is responsible for ensuring compliance with state gaming laws by conducting on-site inspections and investigations, monitoring operations, and enforcing applicable regulations. Duties include reviewing financial and operational records, utilizing regulatory systems, collecting and preserving evidence, and recommending corrective actions when necessary. The position involves regular in-state travel using a state-provided vehicle and requires strict adherence to established laws, rules, and procedures governing gaming activities
YOUR EXPERIENCE COUNTS
Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
Equivalent combination of 5 years of education and experience after completion of high school. Education and experience must be in business administration, accounting, auditing, public administration, criminal justice, law, regulatory enforcement, computer science, or a related field.
License/Certification:
Valid driver's license
Other Requirements:
Must be able to work a non-traditional schedule including some rotating night and weekend shifts Must pass a criminal background check and driver's license history check

RESPONSIBILITIES & DETAILED TAKS
Conducts investigations by collecting, preserving and recording evidence, identifying and interviewing involved persons, and securing copies of documents, videos, reports, logs, etc. that are necessary to ensure compliance with all state gaming laws and regulations. Recommends corrective action. Utilizes technological systems and processes to perform regulatory functions and ensure accounting practices of licensees are in compliance. Completes detailed written reports, and maintains records from the above activities, which may be used in administrative and judicial enforcement actions. Testifies in and assists prosecution with adjudicative proceedings. Acts as a neutral and detached third party in arbitrating disputes between gaming operators, employees, and/or patrons. Demonstrates understanding and the highest degree of integrity, and exercises appropriate levels of discretion. Promotes best practices, offers guidance, explains regulations and responds to questions and complaints from the public and licensees relative to gaming activities. Investigates reported or suspected violations of gaming regulations, and takes actions as appropriate. Develops and maintains a close working relationship with the agency's licensing and auditing units, and conducts and assists with audit activities, including monitoring, documenting and reporting internal control compliance of licensees. Consults with and refers all criminal activity to local, county, and state law enforcement agencies, as applicable. Coordinates and cooperates with the police investigations and prosecutions. Maintains strict confidentiality. Formulates recommendations for changes to administrative rules and agency policies and procedures regarding compliance and enforcement issues. Seeks opportunities to resolve problems, achieve goals, or otherwise advance the commission's mission.
