Duties & Responsibilities:
Investigate allegations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation involving endangered adults Conduct thorough investigations , including interviews, record reviews, and collaboration with other investigative agencies Initiate and facilitate referrals to services and community resources Document investigation activities, including case planning, safety planning, case notes, and findings Serve as the Priority A (within 24 hours of receipt) responder to initiate timely contact with clients facing immediate harm on a rotating basis Respond to all assigned investigations within the required timeframe Review and respond to quality assurance evaluationsRequired Skills:
Ability to think critically, incorporating multiple factors into larger concepts Strong organizational skills with abilities to simultaneously manage multiple investigations Ability to work with and relate to others with customer relation techniques, professionalism, and respect for other cultures Ability to effectively use active listening and interviewing skills Ability to adapt quickly when policies and regulations change Must be computer literate and have MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet skills Ability to foster teamwork with all levels of management and staff Ability to work well independently and within a team Superior verbal and written communication skills Strong decision-making skills, with accuracy and attention to detailQualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred 1+ years of experience with APS, investigatory, social services, human services, or law enforcement workWork Setting:
This APS Investigator Role is Fully Remote , however, regular travel to the Counties you cover is required. The Counties in the Southeast Region are:Delaware Henry Madison Randolph Hancock Johnson Shelby Morgan Bartholomew Brown Decatur Jackson Jennings Dearborn Fayette Franklin Jefferson Ohio Ripley Rush Switzerland Union Wayne Supervisory Responsibility:

As required by applicable law, Marion Edwards provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $47,80.00 - $49,959.00. We provide 120 PTO hours and 80 Holiday hours. If employment starts on or before the 15th of the month the initial accrual of 10 hours /month will be received. If employment starts after the 15th of the month, accrual starts the following month.EEO Statement:
