Job Description

CalStar Unlimited (CA PI# 187978), a growing private investigative firm focused on insurance investigations, is looking to hire an experienced AOE/COE Investigator based in the greater Riverside, California area. An AOE/COE Investigator will conduct compensability investigations for workers' compensation claims. Typical activities will include conducting thorough recorded interviews with various subjects, canvassing locations to develop witnesses and/or information, obtaining photographic and video evidence, and securing necessary documentation from public and private sources, with all results being documented in a comprehensive written report. CalStar Unlimited has carved out a niche in the industry as being a high-quality, results-oriented investigative company, and we are looking for someone who can perform the above services at an above-average level. The position will be based in or near Riverside, and the service area will include various locations in the Inland Empire, as well as the surrounding counties. The wage for this position is based on experience and qualifications. The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics:
  • One or more years of experience conducting AOE/COE investigations
  • An independent worker with integrity, a commitment to producing good work, and the ability to make sound decisions in the field
  • Effective oral communication skills and a personable demeanor, with the ability to solicit information from individuals of varying backgrounds
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to create reports that adhere to an established style and format.
  • Fluency in Spanish is desired, but not required.
