Job Description
About the Role Sly Fox Private Investigations is seeking a detail‑driven, compassionate, and highly dependable Private Investigator to join our team on a part‑time, as‑needed basis. We work cases that are deeply personal and often life‑changing for our clients. Because of that, we're looking for someone who genuinely cares about the quality of their work and understands the responsibility that comes with handling sensitive situations. Experience preferred — but we're willing to train the right person. If you're new to the industry but have strong ethics, excellent judgment, and a desire to learn, we'll provide guidance and support to help you grow. What You'll Do Surveillance work — discreetly observe, document, and report findings Background research — gather information through online, public, and proprietary sources Client communication — maintain professionalism, clarity, and empathy Case documentation — produce accurate, organized, court‑ready reports Fieldwork — travel locally as needed for assignments What We're Looking For A strong sense of responsibility — our clients trust us with some of the most important issues in their lives Integrity and discretion — confidentiality is non‑negotiable Attention to detail — small observations often make the biggest difference Professionalism and empathy — clients may be stressed, emotional, or unsure Flexibility — hours vary based on case needs Willingness to learn — we will train motivated newcomers Requirements Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work irregular hours, including evenings or weekends when needed Valid Private Investigator DCJS Registration Strong written communication skills Prior investigative experience preferred , but not required Why Work With Us At Sly Fox Private Investigations, we take pride in going above and beyond for our clients.
