The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Officer will monitor premises through surveillance systems, conduct regular patrols, and respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies. Responsibilities Monitor and authorize entrance of individuals onto the premises to ensure security protocols are followed. Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Utilize CCTV systems effectively to monitor activities and ensure safety compliance. Respond quickly and efficiently to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, utilizing first aid and CPR skills when necessary. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property. Manage conflicts in a calm and professional manner while ensuring the safety of all parties involved. Experience Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred. Familiarity with surveillance equipment (CCTV) and conflict management techniques is essential. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts. Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse groups of people effectively.
