Job Description

Position Summary MAG Aerospace has an opportunity for a Test Support Technician in the Aviation Security Technology Industry. The Test Support Technician supports developmental test and evaluation tasks, including test set-up, execution, and data collection at the TSA System Integration Facility in Arlington Virginia. Supported activities include observation of corrective & preventive maintenance; installations, removals, and relocations; upgrades; and deliveries. •This Role Does Not Support Remote Work• Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintaining accurate system logs of all activity Observing Site Acceptance Tests, System Installations, Movement & Decommissioning Escorting visitors and vendors Test Equipment Setup Data Collection Requirements Ability to obtain and maintain a TSA suitability clearance. US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. Prior experience as a DHS/TSA Transportation Security Officer Minimum years of related experience required : 4 - 6 years experience as a DHS/TSO Transportation Security Officer Education HS diploma/GED AA/AS or 2-year Technical School Certificate in Information Technology Physical requirements Must be able to stand for long periods. Must be able to lift fifty pounds. Special Note The position is contingent upon candidate's ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements. Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $25 to $35 (hourly USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees
