Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Care Specialist to join our team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing the beauty of residential and commercial landscapes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment effectively. As a Lawn Care Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that lawns and gardens are healthy, vibrant, and well-kept throughout the seasons. Duties Perform regular lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, and aerating to promote healthy growth. Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees through proper trimming and pruning techniques. Dig holes for planting new trees or shrubs as needed. Operate hand tools such as rakes, shovels, and pruners for various landscaping tasks. Utilize power tools including lawn mowers, blowers, and hedge trimmers safely and effectively. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties. Conduct groundskeeping duties to maintain clean and attractive outdoor spaces. Monitor plant health for signs of disease or pest infestations and take appropriate action. Skills Proficiency in lawn care techniques including mowing, and trimming. Experience with tree trimming and general landscaping is highly desirable. Ability to operate both hand tools and power tools safely. Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions. Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results. Knowledge of groundskeeping principles is an advantage. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
