We are known for our fresh baked goods, made-to-order sandwiches, locally raised meats, quality sourcing & artisan goods - all in a welcoming neighborhood setting. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality baking and wants to help grow a community-focused bakery program. We currently specialize in traditional loaves (sourdough, multi-grain, rye, potato) along with an assortment of other baked goods (cinnamon rolls, various cookies, whoopie pies, banana bread, granola, chocolate treats, etc.). The new Artisan Baker will have the opportunity to expand our offerings and get creative in the kitchen. What You'll Do Prepare and bake breads, pastries, desserts, and other baked goods Follow recipes while maintaining consistency and quality Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product freshness Package, label, and display bakery items for sale Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace Help manage ingredient inventory and communicate supply needs Assist with seasonal specials and new product ideas What We're Looking For Previous baking or food service experience preferred Strong attention to detail and time management Ability to work independently and stay organized Positive attitude and reliable work ethic Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting ingredients/supplies Passion for creating high-quality baked goods Job Details Full-time (approximately 40 hours/week) $20 - $25/depending on experience Employee discount
