Lead Commercial Electrician

Duties Lead and supervise electrical installation teams on commercial construction and renovation projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and safety protocols Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise electrical layouts and wiring diagrams Install, troubleshoot, and maintain low voltage and high voltage electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized testing equipment such as ohmmeters Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and local electrical codes during all phases of installation and maintenance Effectively work with contractors, other tradespeople, project managers, and supervisory staff to ensure project deadlines and completion Mentor junior electricians and apprentices, fostering a culture of safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement Experience Proven experience as an electrician with a strong background in commercial electrical systems installation and maintenance Demonstrated leadership experience in managing construction site teams or electrical crews on large-scale projects Extensive hands-on experience with construction site safety procedures, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems Familiarity with renovation projects involving framing carpentry, handyman skills, and general construction practices Proficiency with low voltage systems, high voltage wiring, NEC regulations, schematics reading, and the use of testing tools such as ohmmeters Ability to work effectively on construction sites while maintaining safety standards; experience with power tools, hand tools, and power equipment is essential

Pay:

$25.00 - $32.00 per hour
