Lead - Cut Wood

Summary:

This position is responsible for managing day to day activities such as production schedules, tool requirements, and troubleshooting any operator issues. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Responsible for the quality and production of employees in the designated work area. Verifies that employees have the appropriate tools for the job. Trains other Machine Operators on how to set up and operate a variety of variety of wood working machines like a bandsaw, hand shaper and boring machine. Assist and troubleshoots any operator issues. Must be able to set-up and operate all wood working machines in the machine area. Required to use a tape measure to verify measurements on the wood. Must follow all safety policies and procedures. All other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED preferred. Required to have 5 years experience running various woodworking machines for frame parts
