Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Lead Controls Engineer to drive the design, development, and integration of advanced automation and robotic systems across manufacturing and process environments. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for owning projects from concept through commissioning, while mentoring engineers and setting technical direction. This position is ideal for a senior-level engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and can lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance automation solutions. You will play a key role in shaping system architecture, establishing standards, and ensuring successful project execution. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Project Ownership Lead controls engineering efforts across multiple projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget Define system architecture, controls strategy, and technical standards for automation systems Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers Review and approve control system designs, code, and documentation Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and standards Collaboration & Client Engagement Partner with mechanical, electrical, and project teams to execute system designs Interface directly with clients to define requirements, lead technical discussions, and resolve challenges Provide oversight for panel design, system layout, and integration strategies Lead design reviews, FATs, SATs, and commissioning activities Engineering & System Integration Design, program, and troubleshoot complex control systems including PLCs, HMIs, motion, robotics, and vision systems Develop and standardize PLC/HMI code (Allen-Bradley preferred - Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View) Integrate servo systems, VFDs, robotics, and machine vision platforms Preferred experience with: Vision systems: Keyence, Cognex, Fanuc i

RVision Robotics:
