Lead Electrical Estimator

WSI Southwest, Inc., is a family-oriented small business based in Cliff, NM. We provide electrical support to commercial, residential, and industrial customers. We are seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team!

Job Requirements:

Ability to read electrical plans and specifications Commercial and residential electrical knowledge and experience are a must for this role! Ability to exceed client's expectations through project design and execution Computerized estimating experience (we use a variety of bidding software) Labor factor analysis and modification experience Microsoft Office knowledge Cradle-to-grave project tracking Professional initiative Collaboration at all levels of jobs

Job Duties:

Plan, organize, implement, and manage estimating for our team Bid projects with detail to provide accurate budgets and purchase orders Develop and manage processes for design-build work Create project plans and presentations Oversee computerized estimating system, database, labor factors, and updates Help contract administrator with bid document requirements Build production rate tracking systems and reports Track and analyze competition and market pricing Assist and collaborate with Field Foreman and Project Managers regarding field change orders

Experience:

Electrical field: 5 years (Required) Electrical estimating: 1 year (Required) We are looking for a team member who is ready to hit the ground running with this role!
