PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS
Provides guidance to other HR Coordinators
  • Employee Relations Assists in the assignment and tracking of terminations, suspensions, unemployment claims, and complaints/investigations Assists in reviewing general email correspondence submitted by HR Coordinator
  • Employee Relations Assists in reviewing, auditing, and tracking all suspensions, terminations, unemployment claims, and complaints/investigations Assists in final audits for all HRIS Employee Relations transactions to ensure data accuracy and integrity Oversees and manages ER related scanning procedures.
Responsible for reporting status of scanning on a weekly basis Oversees tracking of new/updated policy acknowledgments and Employee Handbook revision acknowledgments Provides training and guidance to new HR Coordinators
  • Employee Relations Provides guidance and attends reconvene, suspensions, and terminations with new HR Coordinators
  • Employee Relations Assists with the administration of employee events, employee recognition programs and activities (Anniversary/Holiday Parties, Gift Cards, Rewards and Recognition Programs, etc.) to include the planning, facilitation, monitoring and execution of these efforts and initiatives Ensure front desk coverage from the Employee Relations Team as needed Provides coverage for HR Manager

RELATIONS JOB FUNCTIONS
Helps administer the disciplinary process to include: Performance Improvement Plans (PIP), Suspensions, Terminations, and other Disciplinary Actions Assists in managing all Suspensions, PIPs, and Investigations, including tracking and maintenance throughout the investigation process until resolution Conducts Investigations related to complaints, disciplinary action, and other Employee Relations issues, including hosting meetings, interviews, and developing resolutions for each type of case Facilitates disciplinary action and/or resolutions with the departments per the investigation outcome Responsible for processing and administrating Unemployment Claims Responsible for routing Employee Relations documents and other HR correspondence to the appropriate parties Assists with Employee Related events such as Anniversary/Holiday Parties, Gift Cards, Rewards and Recognition Programs, etc. Works with Payroll in facilitating the processing of final checks and preparation of exit packets Coordinates the approvals and processing of HRIS termination entries Provides back-up coverage for other Human Resources team members as needed Assists with other duties and projects as assigned The duties listed are not set forth for the purposes of limiting the assignment of work. QUALIFICATIONS
Work Experience Required:
Minimum of two years of experience working in a Human Resources function or within a Human Resources department; basic knowledge of Employee Relations. Solid generalist experience preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Other Requirements:
Willingness to work non-traditional business hours Excellent communication, writing, engagement, and diplomacy skills in dealing with employees at all levels of the organization Capable of exercising discretion and independent judgment Ability to independently manage multiple projects and priorities Work effectively in a team environment with all staff levels of the organization Basic proficiency in
Microsoft Office:
Outlook, Word, and Excel Second language in Spanish or Mandarin/Cantonese preferred.
