Cary, NC Job Details Full-time $30 - $35 an hour Benefits Fuel card Company truck Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Qualifications Power tools for woodworking Driver's License Construction team management Full Job Description Exterior Installer (lead opportunity ) - Retractable Screens, Awnings and Vinyl Raleigh / Triangle Area Monday-Friday (No Weekends) Skyview Retractables is hiring an experienced Lead Installer to run a crew installing retractable screens, awnings, vinyl systems, screen doors, and fixed screens on residential homes. This position is for someone who is comfortable learning new types of installs, using power tools daily, and producing clean, professional work. Pay is based on proven install/skills experience. Responsibilities Technician will be installing high-end retractable screens, awnings, vinyl systems, and screen products Read a tape measure accurately and use lasers to plumb correctly Use drills, saws, and power tools on wood and metal Ensure clean cuts and professional fit/finish Lift and install products 100+ lbs. with a team member up ladders Work on ladders daily. (5-30ft) High ladder work is required for working on the exterior residential structures Must be able to communicate professionally with homeowners Overcome installation issues when they arise, using problem-solving. Requirements Installation or construction experience required Strong tape measure and layout skills Experience using power tools and lasers Ability to lift heavy products and work on ladders daily Valid driver's license with clean driving record Professional appearance and customer-friendly attitude Ability to work independently and lead a small crew Preferred Experience Screen porch systems Exterior doors or fixed screens Awnings or outdoor shade products Veterans encouraged to apply Benefits W-2 position $28-35/hr + Review bonuses Company truck, tools, gas card Company shirts and jacket Health insurance supplements PTO + additional holidays Simple IRA with company match No weekend work

TOOLS:

teach proper use of tools, Laser line level, Tape measure, Ladders (proper set up and use), Miter saw safety and operation, Impact drivers (proper tensions),Drills, Oscillating saw (straight cuts), Circular saw, Hammer drill, Caulk gun ( clean bead) Use of Fasteners for different types of materials and load requirements, Bits and drills bits (types sizes and for different material and attachment load) Working as a team, process of installation for QUALITY first mentality. •We routinely work in/around high-end homes. Professionalism and Courtesy are key factors for the company. No smoking on the job site or in company truck/buildings.•
