In this pivotal role, you will oversee laboratory operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality control, compliance with regulatory guidelines, and scientific integrity. Your leadership will drive the execution of complex laboratory procedures, support research initiatives, and mentor junior staff. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge scientific research within a fast-paced industrial environment, emphasizing accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Duties Lead and coordinate daily laboratory activities, ensuring adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) standards. Oversee sample preparation, data collection, and analysis across multiple projects related to lead dust wipe samples. Implement and monitor quality control procedures to maintain compliance with New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) and Environmental Laboratory Approval Program (ELAP) regulations and industry standards. Supervise laboratory technicians and analysts, providing training on laboratory techniques, safety protocols, and documentation practices. Manage laboratory information management systems (LIMS), ensuring accurate data entry, tracking samples, and maintaining detailed records of experiments and results. Collaborate with research teams to develop and optimize laboratory procedures. Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and validated for consistent performance. Support regulatory audits by preparing documentation and demonstrating compliance with relevant guidelines. Stay current with advancements in scientific research methods and industry best practices to enhance laboratory efficiency. Skills Extensive knowledge of GLP standards, NYSDOH regulations, and ELAP compliance requirements in a lead laboratory setting. Extensive knowledge of

method for the digestion of lead dust wipes sample. Strong understanding of lead laboratory procedures. Proven analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets accurately. Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for data tracking and documentation. Excellent laboratory techniques including sample preparation, analysis, preparation and documentation of results. Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a collaborative environment focused on quality excellence. Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail in record-keeping and report generation. Proficiency in math for quantitative analysis and method validation purposes.
